Nominee must be an AONE Affiliate.
Recognizes a person who has made a noteworthy contribution to the health care field and to nursing leadership practice.
Nominee is not an AONE member. | Respected leader in nursing or health care. | Demonstrates commitment to nursing leadership. | Supports AONE’s mission through work, research or service to the health care community.
AONE’s highest and most prestigious award given to a member recognized by the broader nursing community as a significant leader in the nursing profession.

Recognizes a nurse in executive practice who is an exemplary in supporting the professional development of colleagues by serving as a mentor or advisor. Embodies the definition of a mentor as a “trusted counselor or guide”.

Recognizes an organization or individual who has advanced diversity efforts within the nursing profession and the organization’s community.

Recognizes an AONE or AONE Foundation program alumnus who exhibits significant potential as a future health care leader and demonstrates exemplary leadership within his or her organization, community and the nursing profession.
Active AONE member | Participated in AONE and/or AONE Foundation education program. | Have 5 – 10 years of experience as a nurse in a leadership position. | Exhibits significant potential as a future health care leader and role model to other early careerists.
