Special Activities and Events AONE Institute for Patient Care Research & Education Fundraisers The AONE Institute for Patient Care Research and Education is proud to announce the following special events to be held at AONE's 2008 Annual Meeting in Seattle, Washington, April 25-29. Both events will raise funds to benefit the research agenda of the AONE Institute for Patient Care Research and Education, an affiliate of AONE and a 501(c)(3) unit of the Health Research and Educational Trust (HRET). Shopping Extravaganza at Nordstrom of Seattle! Friday, April 25, 2008 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. Looking for a perfect way to end a full day of learning? Join us for an evening shopping extravaganza at Seattle’s flagship Nordstrom department store. Your $100 donation to the AONE Institute for Patient Care Research and Education includes: A very special welcome reception at the Nordstrom department store located in the heart of Seattle’s downtown shopping district.  A fabulous spread of food and drinks featuring Seattle’s best culinary riches. An exclusive shopping experience serviced by some of Nordstrom’s finest personal shopping associates. A unique thank you gift from the Institute to commemorate this event. When you fill out the Annual Meeting registration form, please mark the appropriate box to sign up for the AONE Institute Shopping Extravaganza. Your donation of $100 can be paid along with your registration fee and you will receive acknowledgement of your tax-deductible donation in a separate letter from the Institute. Institute Raffle Thanks to the generosity of our attendees and raffle ticket purchasers at the AONE 2007 Annual Meeting, the raffle raised over $5,000 for the Institute! We will try to beat that amount in Seattle, so come prepared to support the AONE Institute by buying tickets for another fabulous set of raffle prizes. Attendees will deposit tickets by the boxes next to each available item, and at the end of the meeting, a raffle will be held. There is no limit to how many times you can enter to win a particular item. Raffle tickets will be sold on-site at the meeting for $5 each or five tickets for $20.
