Welcome to the AONE TCAB Project site!
As an organization whose mission is “shaping the future of health care through innovative nursing leadership”, AONE is proud to lead a dissemination of the Transforming Care at the Bedside (TCAB) initiative with 68 hospitals, supported by a grant from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. The 68 hospitals have chosen one medical/surgical unit as their TCAB pilot unit and are focusing on improving health care in four major areas:
- Safety and reliability
- Joyful and supportive work environments
- Patient centered care
- Value-added work
TCAB is an innovative model that calls for nurses to lead unit and hospital-wide team efforts to improve the quality and safety of patient care. Through nurses’ creativity, teamwork and focus on the patient, this project is fulfilling one of AONE’s important strategic goals of creating care delivery models of the future.
This resource site has been designed for the 68 hospital teams to access the most up-to-date information about upcoming conference calls, meetings and other important AONE TCAB project information.
