Nurse Manager Institute


Nurse Manager Institute (NMI) is a three-day interactive program that combines lecture, discussion, experiential learning and self-assessment. Using simulation, case study and introduction of leadership concepts attendees are able to explore their leadership potential, understand the basics of budgeting, conflict management, circle concepts, quality and patient safety, and their role in the future of nursing.

Continuing Education Contact Hours

The program offers attendees the opportunity to earn up to 17.5 continuing education credits.

Accreditation Statement

The American Organization of Nurse Executives is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. AONE is approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider Number 15740.


AONE has reserved a nightly rate of $195 plus tax at the Embassy Suites Tampa Westshore. A special link to reserve the discounted rate will be provided in your confirmation email. The discounted rate is available until February 4, 2019, or until rooms have sold out. Please make sure to book early.

AONE cannot be held liable for non-refundable airline tickets or hotel room deposits. AONE suggests that you do not purchase restricted or nonrefundable tickets for travel to the course. AONE assumes no liability for penalties or fare increases should the course sell out or in the unlikely event that changes to the dates and/or location become necessary. Hotel reservations, cancellations and charges are the attendee’s responsibility.


A refund minus 20% will be granted to written requests received 14 days or more prior to the start date of the program. Cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to Shanna Sweeney. We will not be able to grant refunds after this date.

Registrants unable to attend may send an alternate. If the alternate is not a member of AONE and original registrant is a member, the nonmember differential must be paid
