Certified in Executive Nursing Practice (CENP) Essentials Review Course
The Certified in Executive Nursing Practice (CENP) Essentials Review Course is a one-day course that assists participants in preparing for the CENP exam through a review of the AONE Nurse Executive Competencies ™ and practical application of the competencies.
Course Competencies Include:
- Communication and relationship building
- Knowledge of the health care environment
- Business skills
This course is intended to be an opportunity to integrate concepts with experience, honing your critical thinking abilities in preparation for the CENP exam.
Continuing Education Contact Hours:
Participants can earn a maximum of 7.0 contact hours when they successfully complete this activity. The American Organization of Nurse Executives is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
AONE is authorized to award 7.0 hours of pre-approved ACHE Qualified Education credit (non-ACHE) for this program toward advancement, or recertification in the American College of Healthcare Executives.
Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider Number 15740 for up to 7.0 contact hours.

Course participants can purchase the supplemental certification preparation Self-Assessment Exam (SAE) at a discounted rate. $95 AONE member; $180 non-member. The exclusive discount order form will be linked in the registration confirmation and will be valid two months after the review course.
Registration for the review course does not include the exam fee. Registration for the review course does not guarantee you will receive a passing score on the exam.
Cancellations must be made prior to the event to receive a full refund minus a $75 processing fee. No refunds will be made after the cancellation deadline. All cancellations must be submitted in writing to Kelsey Irish at email@example.com.
Registrants unable to attend may send an alternate. If the alternate is not a member of AONE and the original registrant is a member, the nonmember differential must be paid. AONE cannot be held liable for nonrefundable airline tickets or hotel room deposits.
