AONE offers a diverse selection of educational programs and resources designed to assist nurse leaders in their professional development. Whether you are improving performance in your current role or taking your career to the next level, AONE offers tools for all levels of advancement. Most offerings also include continuing education credits.

AONE Credentialing Center: CENP and CNML
The Certified in Executive Nursing Practice (CENP) and the Certified Nurse Manager and Leader (CNML) are premier credentials in nursing leadership.

CENP Preparation Resources and CNML Preparation Resources
Tools and resources such as  the candidate handbook, competencies assessment, readiness exams, study groups and review courses are available to help you on your certification journey.

Annual Meeting
Stay current with industry changes and enhance your management skills with AONE's educational programs and annual meetings. Continuing education credit is available.

Care Innovation and Transformation (CIT)
The Care Innovation and Transformation initiative improves patient care, hospital performance, and employee satisfaction through the engagement of frontline staff, collaboration, innovation and leadership development.  Care Innovation and Transformation participants meet face-to-face four times over a period of two years.  Continuing education credit is available.

Essentials of a Nurse Manager Orientation (ENMO)
To meet the busy schedule of a nurse leader, Essentials of Nurse Manager Orientation (ENMO) is an online, comprehensive course for frontline managers, charge nurses, aspiring managers and leadership staff. ENMO was developed in partnership with the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN) and is the first leadership course created specifically for nurse managers.

Emerging Nurse Leader Institute (ENLI)
The Emerging Nurse Leader Institute is designed for staff nurses, charge nurses, nurse coordinators and nurse managers with less than one year of experience who aspire to nurse leadership roles. ENLI is a three-day interactive program that combines lecture, discussion, experiential learning and self-assessment.

AONE Nurse Manager Fellowship
The AONE Nurse Manager Fellowship is the first of its kind program to step up the level of existing education and development for nurse managers. The Fellowship is a year-long professional development program designed to provide an in-depth environment of learning. The fellowship incorporates the Nurse Manager Learning Domain Framework, developed by AONE.

The American Organization of Nurse Executives is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
