AONE provides a variety of opportunities for emerging nurse leaders, nurse managers/directors, and senior nurse leaders. AONE’s Annual Meeting offers nurse leaders excellent opportunities to learn from colleagues and to benefit from a variety of general session speakers and panel presentations on cutting edge issues. AONE’s smaller face-to-face meetings and online and virtual conferences address more focused topics on leadership development needs.
Emerging Nurse Leader Institute (ENLI)
The Emerging Nurse Leader Institute is designed for staff nurses, charge nurses, nurse coordinators and nurse managers who aspire to nurse leadership roles. ENLI is a 3.5 day interactive program that combines lecture, discussion, experiential learning and self-assessment. Continuing education credit is available.
Nurse Manager Institute (NMI)
The Nurse Manager Institute is designed for nurse managers with at least one year of experience. NMI is a three-day interactive program that combines lecture, discussion, experiential learning and self-assessment. Continuing education credit is available.
Essentials of Nurse Manager Orientation (ENMO)
To meet the busy schedule of a nurse leader, Essentials of Nurse Manager Orientation (ENMO) is an online, comprehensive course for frontline managers, charge nurses, aspiring managers and leadership staff. ENMO was developed in partnership with the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN) and is the first leadership course created specifically for nurse managers.
AONE Nurse Manager Fellowship
The AONE Nurse Manager Fellowship is the first of its kind program to step up the level of existing education and development for nurse managers. The Fellowship is a year-long professional development program designed to provide an in-depth environment of learning. The fellowship incorporates the Nurse Manager Learning Domain Framework, developed by AONE. Continuing education credit is available.
Care Innovation and Transformation (CIT)
The Care Innovation and Transformation initiative improves patient care, hospital performance, and employee satisfaction through the engagement of frontline staff, collaboration, innovation and leadership development. Care Innovation and Transformation participants meet face-to-face four times over a period of two years. Continuing education credit is available.
