Diversity has many dimensions, which are reflected through characteristics of race, ethnicity, national origin, gender, chronological and generational age, physical capabilities, socioeconomic background, religion, special attributes, talents, abilities, human capacity, viewpoints, perspectives, values, ideas, practice experiences, life skills, sexual orientation, and generational influences.
